The Lesbian Therapists Referral Network was founded in 1994 with the mission to provide quality psychotherapy services to members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and queer (LGBTQ) communities.
Unlike "lesbian and gay affirmative" providers, we proudly identify ourselves as lesbians. Through our own experience we believe that we deeply understand the ways in which gender and sexual identity issues come into play as we address an array of mental health issues.
In choosing a therapist, it is important to find someone with whom you feel comfortable as well as someone who has expertise in the issues that you present. Whether you are dealing with difficulties concerning your identity, relationship, career, or coping with a mood disorder like depression or anxiety, we are trained to help you.
